How to connect Kraken

Log in to your Kraken account

Go to kraken.com and log in. Navigate to Security → API.

Go to Kraken API settings →

Create a new API key

Click 'Add key'. Give it a name like 'My Metric Trade'. Set permissions to Query Funds and Create & Modify Orders only. Do NOT enable withdrawals.

Copy your API key and secret

Kraken will show your API key and private key once. Copy both immediately — the private key is shown only once.

Paste into My Metric Trade

In My Metric Trade, go to Settings → Connect Broker → Kraken. Paste your API key and private key and click Connect.

Verify the connection

My Metric Trade will verify the connection and confirm your available balance. You're ready to build strategies.
